WHAT IS THE COACHING PROCESS?
Before any formal coaching sessions, you will be offered a complementary pre-coaching session in order to:
- explain your expectations
- answer any questions you would have about coaching
- but most importantly ensure that you feel confortable with your potential coach. Feeling well with one's coach is essential to coaching success.
If you wish to start a coaching journey, we will then define a number of sessions and a recurrent meeting frame (day, time, location...). Usually a coaching program would require a minimum of 8 to 12 sessions on a weekly or fortnight depending on your needs. Ad-hoc sessions can also be considered on request.
Coaching sessions last 90 minutes, face to face in London or by video if you are anywhere else in the world.
During first sessions we focus on defining clear and inspiring goals, work on strategies and actions for you to follow in order to reach them. Then we focus on your actions and review them, setting new ones...
A coaching session is intense and rich. It is a unique moment thinking just about yourself. A lot of emotions may arouse during a session. It is important you plan it when you are fresh and relaxed and that you don't rush into an important meeting just after! You might be exhausted!
To ensure your thinking ability are maximal, at My Tailored Coach, we will always start a session by exercices based on neuroscience technics which would help your brain to be fully focused and at ease in the moment. This will allow you to get the most value out of your coaching sessions and make sure your brain is not polluted by any other matters and that you can fully concentrate.
Besides, we don't ask you to take note. We really want you to let your brain connect and build on ideas, insights and we are convinced that if you stop your thinking to write down something, you stop your brain connection flow and idea creations. Yet don't worry, you will be able to get all your thinking in writing as we will send you a "coaching journal" summarizing your key output and actions defined after each session. It is a strong additional investment from us but we are convinced it makes a huge difference in the coaching session efficiency.
Besides, it keeps track of your progress and thinking and you can refer to it anytime during or long after our sessions.
